Six-year-old Mia* has suffered from spinal muscular atrophy since birth, leaving her dependent on both a wheelchair and a ventilator. Her lungs require daily suctioning, and she relies on a ventilator, cough assist device, and an oxygen cylinder.

She is 100% severely disabled and has a care level of 5. Nevertheless, she is a cheerful girl who has not given up hope for a life that is as self-determined as possible.

Her father works and her mother takes care of Mia*. Unfortunately, the family now needs a wheelchair-accessible car, as their existing car cannot be converted due to insufficient height.

Therefore, the mother currently has to do all her errands on foot. As soon as the weather is bad, Mia* cannot leave the apartment. For numerous doctor's appointments, errands, and social contacts, which are currently lacking, the family urgently needs a new vehicle.

Since the family lives on the father's income, child benefit, and care allowance, their financial resources are insufficient. Therefore, they are requesting assistance.
