PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION
We support people with DISABILITIES and those who have fallen ILL OR INTO HARDSHIP THROUGH NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN
The Franz Beckenbauer-Stiftung is a legally capable foundation under civil law, based in Hamburg. In accordance with section 53 of the German Tax Code, the foundation supports people with disabilities and people who are ill or have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own. Our focus is on individual case aid. We offer advice and work quickly and purposefully.
All funding is financed from donations and returns on the endowment. Donations come from individuals and companies who feel connected to our mission, as well as from sporting and social events.
To make the foundation a lasting institution, the statutes require that the endowment and any endowment contributions be preserved permanently.
Funding decisions are made by the Board and the Board of Trustees. The governing bodies serve on a voluntary basis. The foundation is supervised by the relevant foundation authority. The foundation is a member of the Federal Association of German Foundations.
