HELP US HELP –

WITH YOUR DONATION

Join us in supporting people who have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own. All donations to the foundation are tax-deductible. For every donation over €300 you will automatically receive a donation receipt and a thank-you letter from the board. For donations up to €300 the tax office accepts the simplified proof of donation. On request we are happy to send you a donation receipt for any other amount.
Since its founding in 1982 the foundation has lived entirely on donations and does not receive public funding. We thank you in advance for your support.

WAYS TO DONATE:

OCCASION DONATIONS

Whether you are an individual, a school, a club or a company — there are many occasions to celebrate: birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, family or club celebrations, company events, school or sports events, charity concerts, flea markets, raffles. If you choose to forgo gifts or proceeds and collect donations instead, you help people who are ill, disabled or have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own.

You can inform your guests about the donation drive directly on the invitation. Share the foundation's bank details with them and quote the reference agreed with us, e.g. the occasion or your name. This is the only way we can assign the individual donations to your campaign.

GIFTS

A lifetime gift allows you to actively shape your legacy and experience the impact of your generosity first-hand. With a gift you transfer a sum of money directly to the Franz Beckenbauer-Stiftung.

If you do not wish to make the gift immediately, you can also give a promise of donation during your lifetime. Such a promise simply requires notarial certification.

BEREAVEMENT & MEMORIAL DONATIONS

A loss is an immense burden for those left behind and a heavy blow of fate. We are all the more grateful when, in this difficult time, you intend to support the work of the Franz Beckenbauer-Stiftung. By forgoing wreath and flower donations and instead calling for donations in favour of our foundation, you help us support people who are ill, disabled or have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own.

When asking for donations directly to the Franz Beckenbauer-Stiftung's account, we recommend the following wording for the death notice and/or obituary:

"In lieu of flowers and wreaths, we kindly ask for a donation to the Franz Beckenbauer-Stiftung to the account at HypoVereinsbank Munich,

Account no. 36 474 700,

Sort code 700 202 70,

IBAN: DE68 7002 0270 0036 4747 00,

BIC: HYVEDEMMXXX,

Reference: "Funeral – name of the deceased"."

WILLS &
BEQUESTS

You can place your assets in good hands by remembering the Franz Beckenbauer-Stiftung in your will. In doing so, you join us in supporting people who are ill, disabled or have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own.

ENDOWMENT CONTRIBUTIONS

Alongside direct support, we work to grow the foundation's endowment over time in order to secure the foundation's work in the long term. Unlike donations, which are used promptly for funding in line with our purpose, an endowment contribution secures these projects and tasks for the long term. The value of the endowment contribution is preserved permanently, and only the returns are used for funding.

The more people contribute financially to the endowment, the better our foundation can fulfil its statutory mission and ensure its long-term existence.

Naturally this has no effect on the tax treatment of the contribution.
